Hong Kong Air Cadet Corps (HKACC) is a voluntary uniformed group subsidized by the Home Affairs Bureau of the Hong Kong SAR Government. As the first uniformed team of Sir Ellis Kadoorie Secondary School (West Kowloon), Hong Kong Air Cadet Corps attracts much attention. Flight 6002 of Hong Kong Air Cadet Corps was formally established in November 2002 with 35 students enrolled as recruit cadets. The cadets have been undergoing a series of training, including foot-drill, aviation knowledge, custom and courtesy of Hong Kong Air Cadet Corps and discipline training camp. Besides, the cadets of our School participated in various community services, including the cleaning-up of the Culture Centre, Tsim Sha Tsui on New Year Day, taking up crowd control duties in the Community Chest's "Walk for Millions" and the Lunar New Year firework display in Central, School Speech Day, traffic control duties in the HKACC Annual Parade and the flag-selling campaign for the Community Chest. Moreover, there are also outings, training camps and so on. After numerous trainings and services, the cadets are "well-equipped" with aviation knowledge, foot-drill skills and something more important - a more disciplined and responsible mind.

After about seven years of development, our Squadron becomes more mature now. We could now participate in more community services. Besides, we could explore further in the field of aviation. Our Corporal, Christian Warren Kiesthardt, won the Guild of Air Pilots and Air Navigators (GAPAN) Flying Scholarships 2005. He commenced flying training in July 2005 at the Parafield Campus of British Aerospace Flight Training in Adelaide, Australia.
