School Album 2018-2019

From 23 to 27 April 2019, four S5 students, 5A Gurung Isha, 5A Kandangwa Angel, 5D Rai Urbashi and 5E Limbu Alina joined the above program. They had to attend an interview with other S.5 students in December 2018 in order to be selected for the free-of-charge tour. They visited a lot of places, like Science and Technology Museum, Aerospace Museum, Railway Museum, Palace Museum, National Museum of China, the Great Wall Juyongguan, Tiananmen Square and Wangfujing. During the tour, they conducted a group project with other S5 students from different schools. They decided the topic, ways of collecting data and division of work at the training and briefing session before the tour. The tour not only enhanced their understanding of the living conditions and social development in Beijing, but also deepened their understanding of the attributes of leaders.

This year, from 6th to 8th March, three S.3D students, Ningwa, Shing Wing Shan and Ying Chun Yu, participated in the above program. They spent three school days having lessons with the BPS students. After the program, they shared their happy memories and interesting lessons in the band one girls’ school at the school assembly. They have made a lot of friends and widened their horizons. They found the BPS students well-behaved and eager to help. They value their opportunities to explore the facilities and equipment of another government school.

Congratulations to Mr. Law Ho-lam, Mr. Lee Ka-ho, Mr. Li Ka-fai, , Mr. Lin Chi-heng and janitor Mr. Fung Chan-san who took part and were crowned the plate champions in the 2018/2019 Education Bureau Staff 7-a-side football competition.

Congratulations to PE Department (Mr. LIN Chi-heng, Mr. LI Chi-ming, Ms. YU Dick-kwan, Ms. LO Che-lim) and Sport Development Team (Ms. NG Kit-lai, Mr. LAU Yik-hong, Mr. KEE Ka-ho, Mr. LAW Ho-lam, Ms. CHAN Mai-ting, Mr. KHAN Zubair Ahmed, Mr. SINGH Manpreet) for receiving the Good Customer Service Award granted by Education Bureau.

Congratulations! Our students participated in the “Jyutping Competition” (第三屆全港粵語拼音大賽) on 19th January 2019. They performed outstandingly in the competition. Our school won ‘The Most Active Participation School Award’. The awardees are:

6A (5) Gurung Smriti 古美婷 - 2nd Runner-up

We share the same excitement with LIMBU Sneha of 2B as she produced an outstanding performance representing Hong Kong Women’s U17 in the Jockey Club Girls’ International Youth Invitational Football Tournament 2019 from 28 to 31 March 2019 at Po Kong Village Road Park Artificial Turf Football Pitch.

Sneha featured in all three matches of the host, and scored the only goal in the first game against Northern Mariana Islands, with another one in the final game against Guam. She was one of the delights of the Hong Kong Team and her performance attracted a lot of attention and high praises. At the same time, we would like to express our congratulations to the Hong Kong Women’s U-17 Representative Team on winning the 2nd place in the tournament.
