As part of our Career Exploration Activity organized by the Career Education Committee, our Secondary 6 students recently visited the Yakult Factory in Hong Kong to gain firsthand exposure to real-world industrial practices. This educational outing gave our graduating cohort a valuable opportunity to broaden their career horizons and explore diverse post-secondary pathways.
During the immersive tour, students observed the facility's high-speed automated assembly lines, learning how strict quality control and seamless supply chain logistics bring the iconic probiotic drink to daily retail networks. Beyond the engineering and safety protocols, the visit served as a practical masterclass in multinational business strategy. Students explored how Yakult’s core management philosophy—promoting preventive health at an affordable price—guides its global brand identity and corporate decision-making.
By connecting theoretical knowledge with live commercial operations, our S6 students gained fresh insights into careers spanning industrial engineering, operations management, and corporate leadership, helping them better prepare for success in an ever-evolving job market.
