School Album 2017-2018

Three of our students participated in the 2018 President Cup Int'l (HK) Dance Competition organised by International (HK) Dance Association, and they were awarded top 3 prizes in Jive (Secondary School Section). Our school’s boys FUTSAL (5-a-side-football) team is only established this year and achieved great results immediately. The team took part in the HKJC Fustal Cup (Schools Tournament) organized by Hong Kong Football Association and won 1st-runners up in Boys U15 division, thus qualified for the all-territory finals in July. Congratulations!

The C Grade Boys Football Team has won 4th place in the HKSSF Interschool Football Competition 2017-2018 (Division 3 Kowloon 3). As a result, our school has won the overall Champions and is promoted to Division 2 for the next academic year. Congratulations on such a great achievement!

6B Nasmbu Mbele Joao (ZAC) is among the talented athletes to take part in the Schools Interport Basketball Competition 2017-2018. He represented Hong Kong to have matches with the teams from Macau, Guangdong & Fujian from 27 to 29 April 2018.

適逢一支來自藏族偏遠村落仁多瑪村的諾樂籃球隊來港交流及宣傳紀錄片《仁多瑪》，他們於4月9日在香港大學廉氏體育中心與官立嘉道理爵士中學（西九龍）的少數族裔學生進行技術訓練。

In preparation for the French Junior DELF A1 examination in May, the DELF class took their learning outside of the classroom with a visit to ‘Le Pain Quotidien’ on April 3rd, 2018. During the class at the bakery-café, the students got to practise ordering in French and try different French pastries. The homemade pain au chocolat was everyone’s favourite. The whole experience at ‘Le Pain Quotidien’ was amazing. It was the first time the students were able to use what they had learnt in class in a real life situation, and it was a very fun and memorable learning experience.

From April 2 to April 6, 201, three S.5 students, Gurung Rubic Maya, Sumwar Mastina and Akriti Gurung joined the above program. They visited a lot of places, like Science and Technology Museum, Aerospace Museum, Railway Museum, Palace Museum, National Museum of China, the Great Wall Juyongguan, Tiananmen Square and Wangfujing. The weather was very cold, it even snowed but they really enjoyed the tour. During the tour, they conducted a project in groups. They had decided the topic at the training and briefing session before the tour. The program and project have enhanced students’ understanding of the living conditions and social development in Beijing and deepened their understanding of the attributes of leaders.

Under this project, training sessions, career visits and job shadowing exercises were provided for students to connect their aspiration and pathway with their study at school.
