2026.10.06 Visit Fire Station
Our S4 students recently participated in an action-packed career exploration visit to Tsim Sha Tsui Fire Station to experience life in Hong Kong’s disciplined services firsthand. Stepping behind the scenes, students observed specialized emergency response gear, tactical vehicles, and the intense physical training and teamwork required of firefighters every day.
A powerful highlight of the visit was a direct dialogue with a Fire Officer from an ethnic minority background. The officer shared an inspiring personal journey about overcoming language hurdles, meeting demanding physical benchmarks, and building a rewarding career in public service. Through this exchange, students gained clear insights into recruitment standards, specialized career pathways, and the department's commitment to maintaining an inclusive workforce.
