Cross-curricular Education aims at developing students'
moral and value judgment and their civic awareness. Students are exposed
to topics of civic education, moral education, national education,
environmental education, health and sex education through the class
period programmes and hall assemblies.
Other than the core cross-curricular education programme, the committee has also adopted a permeation approach in extending the coverage.
Elements of moral, civic, national, environmental,
health and sex education are taught through the joint activities with
different subjects such as English, Geography, Integrated Humanities,
Liberal Studies, History and Economics, etc.
Over the years, there has also been constant cooperation
with the Discipline Committee, the Counselling Team, the School Social
Worker and her supporting services for a wide variety of cross-curricular
education activities
