School Discipline

The School Discipline Committee consists of 10 teachers and approximately 56 students serving as School Prefects. The major concerns of the discipline teachers are students' self-discipline and responsibility.

A whole-school approach in discipline is adopted. The Committee handles matters relating to student discipline so they clearly understand the school's requirements, and so develop self-discipline. Well-behaved students are nominated to receive the Most Well-behaved Students' award or the Most Improved-in-conduct Students award.

The School Discipline Committee is also very keen on developing student leadership. To achieve this objective, a new Prefect Team system has been introduced. Prefect leaders are given more responsibility to manage their team members and affairs. Prefects are confident and responsible and have good leadership skills.

The Discipline Committee also works closely with the Guidance & Counselling Committee to organize many activities for students with the aim of guiding them to exercise self-discipline and assume their responsibility towards themselves and others.
